Note to Self: ‘Twas NYE

I love new beginnings. The start of a new week, a new day, especially the start of a New Year. New beginnings are magical and every day is a day that we can tap into that magic.

But there is something about the beginning of a new year. The excitement and curiosity of where and how your life will turn.

2018 was really good to me. I officially started my profession as a Licensed Massage Therapist in January. Although, I wasn’t too confident in my technique in the beginning; my massages are now first class! (Reviews coming soon.)

I purchased my domain name robindnelson.org and .com from go daddy in March, but officially built the site in September. I am very proud of my baby.

I struggled some with my emotional well-being and my financial health, but that’s part of life; nothing that can’t be overcome. But I am glad to say that I am welcoming 2019 with a big HELLO HAPPINESS!!!

2018 set me up pretty nice and though I’m not where I want to be exactly; I am much closer to my dream. 😉

For the past few years, I have not been making any resolutions; instead claiming my year to be great and so far, life has been good to me.

This year I decided however to go back to making my resolutions. I’m not going to beat myself over the head with it, but I’m taking the stand that if I FAIL TO PLAN, THEN I PLAN TO FAIL.

You have to give yourself goals and deadlines when you are on a mission for better and greater things. #itsnotagame

My mission this year because I haven’t already gotten to it is….drum roll please!!!

🤸🏾‍♀️INCREASE MY CREDIT SCORE🤸🏾‍♀️

The way I look at it is this, you want a car, you want to rent an apartment, need a loan, buy a house, start a business; you need to get you need a good credit score.

Many people know this and many people don’t.

Some care about it and it some don’t.

Some have already taken care of it and some haven’t.

I haven’t.

But that ends this year because I have places to be and people to see.

My goal is that by 2020 I will have a solid financial foundation on which I can build my professional vision.

This is definitely going to be a hard goal for me because financial discipline is not my first language, or second, or third. But I will use my blog as a way to keep myself accountable. I will share with you the methods that I will use to INCREASE MY CREDIT SCORE.🤸🏾‍♀️

Will you join me?

I hope 2018 was good to you and I pray 2019 will be even better.

20/20 will be here before you know it…

What’s your vision?
